Understand and apply successful principles for living

Biblical counseling is different from traditional psychology.  We use the Bible as the plumb line or standard for success in marriage and other relationships, emotional healing from past wounds, and working through personal roadblocks such as anger, depression, fear, etc. 
We are not licensed Psychologists, nor do we attempt to take on that role. The process starts with an evaluation to determine if Biblical counseling or guidance is what you need.  If, in our opinion, a more clinical approach is needed, we will refer you to a licensed Psychologist.
  • The Goal…to help individuals reach spiritual and emotional maturity through an understanding and application of Biblical principles for living.
  • The Standard…the Bible and its demonstrated principles for living found throughout Scripture.
  • The Heart…helping someone to discover how to apply those principles to their life, including dealing with past hurts and traumas that hinder them in the present.
  • The Setting…in the loving and non-judgmental atmosphere of the pastoral counseling relationship, where a person is seen and accepted where they are, as a person of value to God.
  • The Process…requires a person to take responsibility for themselves, their attitudes and behaviors, by bringing them into agreement with Biblical principles they are helped to discover.
  • The Result…the discovery of a deeper relationship with Christ, which becomes the source of the peace and joy that most persons desire for their lives and their relationships.
  • The Uniqueness…weaving the truth of the Scriptures together with the power of the Holy Spirit in a unique way.
